USA: A early morning hike in California

Name: Rancho San Antonio
Length: ~ 8 km (Several hiking/jogging paths in place)
Time: 2 hours
Good to know: This is a popular place. The gate will open at sunrise. Entry and parking is for free.

Where to park: Rancho San Antonio Open Space Preserve, Cristo Rey Drive, Cupertino, CA, USA.

Tips: Go there early, the place is really popular for hiking and jogging.

Cost: none.

Personal opinion: Several hiking paths in the woods. It is possible to go to one of the several view points, which give a nice overview on Cupertino.

I did not see any mountain lions, but a few other animals like skunk, deer and squirrel.

A nice place to go in the morning (5 am), to get started in the day. When starting early you will not see as many people. On the way back around 7 to 8 am the parking space was completely full.
