South Africa: Hluhluwe Imfolozi Park

No visit to Africa should go by without visiting a national park for some game drives. This time we choose to spend a couple of days in the Hluhluwe Imfolozi Park. The park is mainly famous for black and white rhinos and is the oldest proclaimed nature reserve in Africa. It consists of 960 km² of hilly topography, 280 kilometers north of Durban in central KwaZulu-Natal.  We stayed in the Hilltop Camp, which is located in the East Part (Hluhluwe) of the Park. It has a nice restaurant with a terrace that is overlooking the park.
