The plan after arriving in Norway was to hike for a few days in the Rondane National Park. Sadly this plan was crossed by massive rain and bloated hiking trails. We had three attempts but the trails were under water and hiking would only be possible in rubber boats.
Same was true for the camping options in the park. The ground was so soaked that we did not even try to build up our tent. Nether the less we found one short trail that showed us a little of the park. Running through a nice forest, among a river with two smaller waterfalls. This gave us an idea how nice hiking in the park could normally be.
Usually the park is surrounded by mountains and give great views. It is also popular for day and multi-day hikes. If you are luckier with the weather. 🙂
