One of the highlights of our Ireland road trip was the visit of the Cliffs of Moher. Even that I thought it would be much more crowded as the place is quite known and one of the top touristic places in the country. There are ways to avoid the crowd and have a nice experience while hiking at the edge of the cliffs.
Where to park: in order to avoid crowds and pay only 2 euro parking fee, park at the beginning of the Cliffs of Moher Coastal Walk and walk 4 km to the visitor center and back.
Tips: for hiking the whole Cliffs of Moher Coastal Walk stay in Doolin overnight. From there are several bus options available in order to get to the start of the walk.
Cost: parking fee.
Personal opinion: Very nice coastal walk. It is even very impressive to walk towards the visitor center and see the Cliffs all the time.
