Our next stop from Fatehpur Sikri was Jaipur. The drive took around 4 hours. As we spent the whole morning in Fatehpur Sikri, there was not too much time left to explore Jaipur itself. Which was a bit sad, as the city has a lot of sides to over for exploring.
The only thing that could be done in 2 hours was to visit the Jaigarh Fort. The Fort gives a nice overview over Jaipur and the surrounding area. Before we even had a chance to enter the Fort we been stop by locals who wanted to take a lot of pictures with us. Even that for India is much more used to western tourist as Bangladesh, we often felt like movie starts. Always surrounded by people who want to selfie with us.
The Fort itself give a lot of spots to get a nice overview over the area. When walking in the fort be aware of all the monkeys that are running and jumping around on the walls. When with babies they get protective and a bit aggressive.
For seeing more of Jaipur I would recommend taking 2 or 3 full days, in order to explore the city and surrounding places.
I only passed the Hawa Mahal (Pink City) and there was also no time left to visit the Amer Fort, as also in Jaipur the attractions are closing around 5 pm.
