Day 4: Emstur to Þórsmörk
Length: ~15 km
Time: ~ 6-7 hours
Good to know: this hike is as long as the one on day 3. Hiking includes the crossing of the deepest river of the total hike. It took us 30 minutes to find the right way through the river, as there are several branching s.
Tip: When reaching Pórsmörk take two or three days in order to do some day walks/hikes in the area.
Cost: camping fee´ s can be paid in the hut with credit card.
Personal Opinion: the hike is stunning. Having the look on the glacier for hours made it even more pleasant.
