During our Asia Trip from Kuala Lumpur to Singapore to Bali, we stayed in Bali for 10 days. From Singapore, we took a flight to Bali and stayed in the Hard Rock Hotel Bali at the Kuta Beach. During our stay we did 4-day trips around the island with a driver.
A hike in the rice fields

One amazing thing to do in Bali is to visit one of the many rice fields in Bali. For example the Tegallalang Rice Terrace. The landscape is stunning. Take some time in order to hike through the fields and enjoy the sunset.
Pura Ulun Danu Bratan
The temple is located on the shores of Lake Bratan and is a major Shaivite water temple. It is a nice area to walk around and just enjoy the view towards the temple.
Watch a Balinese Dance Performances
The shows are colorful, with dancing, music, dragons and many traditions. At some temples show are includes, as well as many restaurants or hotels offer their own show.
Mount Batur
Mount Batur is an active volcano. Several day hike can be done in the area.
Ubud Monkey Forest
The Ubud Monkey Forest is a must when being in Bali. The forest (Mandala Suci Wenara Wana) is a natural habitat of Balinese Monkey and located in Ubud. Be aware of your stuff, the monkeys are quick and take everything that is lose.
Pura Taman Ayun
Beautiful area with Balinese temple and a nice garden to walk around in.
One of the endless waterfalls
Bali offers a many waterfalls, for hiking, swimming and relaxing.
Tirta Empul
Tirta Empul temple is a Hindu Balinese water temple.
